I have been considering trying this tabs on my boat due to limited space under my swim platform. I have seen that a local boat builder is using them on a similar hull design to mine and he sung thier praises. Is anyone here using this system and what are your thoughts?
Yep, I love 'em. Used them for 2 years without an issue. Very easy to intall, they work great, unobtrusive and easier than any other system I've ever used. You are always informed as to what trim condition you've set for the boat. I've ordered another set for the B25...
Have used them this year without an issue.
Works really great, Easy to install
One thing, be sure that the surface there they will be installed are in level.
Greg, one thing to consider is how well will they handle and impact. As you know we get a lot of debris in the bay and offshore. A standard tab will deflect an impact much better. Catch something on one of those planes and my guess is the whole thing will get ripped right off.
1) Surface they will be installed on must be level. And I mean level.
2) There has been reports about trouble with the electric motors, but it could have been when they where new on market. Probably fixed now.
