Default "Deadrise" The higher degree the better?

Do yourself a real favor and go see peter jones in annapolis and go for a ride on the twinvee 22 or 26ft hull. read about coming around bloodypoint light into the bay on the website twinveeboats.com a great web site.
No I don't work there but I was introduced to twinvee 3ft seas in a 19 at 40+ with no bounce and 4-5 in a 26 at 40+ mph The 26 ride was with 20mph winds and small craft warnings.

net result now a cat owner in florida andthe 24 grady WA is no longer a thought .
best of luck but you need to pick a nasty day and tell him your ready to be shown

Scottwx

The tabs were 600 bucks and it took me about 4 hours to do myself the right way.

aqua, thank you!

I just can't see like you said why any boat would go without them. Only downside i see is sawing off the fishing line, something to be weary of

Scott, to keep your fisshing line from getting hung up , there are manufacturers that recess their tabs. This way there is nothing protruding from the transom. Keeps those lines out of harms way!
