Default Donzi F-23?

This model was only made one year I believe in 1990. It's an I/O walkaround. I think Donzi makes a pretty good boat, but wonder why they only made this model for one year. I can't find anything out about it on the net and have tried searching the forums here already. Anybody know anything? Thanks.

I had a 1990 Donzi F-21 center console w/ a outboard. I loved that boat went 42 miles offshore w/ it regularly. Caught every fish in th e ocean w/it . I always wished I could have had the F23 when I had mine. Most of those had twin smaller outboards. I sold mine for more than i bought it for and it held up great. Small fuel tank if I remember right maybe 85 gal . If I can be of any other help let me know. I also doubt youll find much on em cause they wernt made long..

I have a F23. I have seen alot of these after getting one. It was made 2 years while Donzi was sold.
There was three diff models using the same hull. One came with the inboard then the other models had outboards on brackets one had a single 250 hp and the other had twin 140 hp. then you had your CC or your W/A. Models. I love my f23 W/A It rides great and with the twin 140 4 strokes its sips fuel. But I have seen a 1989 and my is a 1990. So I know of two years it was made.

Ron, looks like there are at least two F-23s on James Island now. I'll look for you on the water.

Greetings folks. I noticed this old thread and thought I'd put in my two cents worth regarding the Donzi F series. I think Donzi sold pretty much as many as they could turn out in 1990 and soon thereafter went bellyup. Mine is an F-21 that I have greatly prized. I repowered it with a newer Yamaha 200 and it continues to be a teriffic seaboat. I regularly run out 40 miles into the gulf from Mobile Bay and have been in some pretty good blows over the years. I recently moved up to a 24 Regulator because I want to venture out to the hundred mile range, which is beyond what my Donzi can do. Interestingly, the Donzi has exactly the same 8'6" beam as the much larger Regulator, and I believe that gives it the feel of a much larger class hull that I have heard so many folks talk about. I have put it up for sale, against the wailing of my children who grew up loving that boat. Based on what I have seen, all the F Donzis in my area are still around, usually repowered and looking good. They actually seem to have stopped depreciating. If you want a peek at a beautifully keep F series boat, check my posting on THT at:

Hi, trying to get info on Donzi F-21 cc. What is true weight as there seem to be many different figures 2700-4000 lbs?? Why would they be so heavy compared to other 21 footers of the time. Were they self draining and did they have foam fill and how was it installed? I see now sold as Clearwater 2100WI. Any more comments on either boat would be greatly apprecated?
