Default Bertram 20 center console

I saw an unusual boat today-a Bertram 20 center console. Any idea as to how many of these were built? The boat appeared to be a mess with the bilge full of water. I would assume that the inner foam is also saturated. Thanks.

Post them here. We all wanna see it.

I don't think classic Bertrams had anything to do with foam in bilge.

I think they're made from the same mold as Seabird, Seacraft, and Formula boats?

76GMC1500.

The Bert 20 is not the same hull as the Seacraft and I am near certain it is not the same as the Seabird either. I have owned both. The running surface is complete different from the Seacraft and the bow does not appear to have the same flair or entry as the Seabird. I am not familiar with Formula so that is a possibility.

I have a pretty one that I bought from a friend in Detroit. It has never seen salt water. It was love at first sight for me... I am in the process of repowering her now, but cosmetically she is pretty much done. Check her out here:
http://web.me.com/ledfoot/7-08_main_...Sportsman.html

It is the same hull as the 20' Bert Moppie, Bahia Mar & Baron, has nothing to do with a Sea Craft (I have one of those too)

There is a small B20 forum on the B25 website: http://simplifying.net/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=3

Decent boat, not as overbuilt as people say, and light. I had a Bahia Mar I restored, pretty capable but still only a 20' boat, in 2 to 3' chop it is not enough boat.

Don,
Would love to see your boat. Are you on Harsen's Island? Where do I find my hull #?
The repower is done, runs 58mph and is an awesome all-around boat. I agree with MacCTD, the boat rides well but it is still a 20 footer. That said, the only boats I have ever been in that ride better are straight inboards, and they don't run 58mph...
