Default E-Zorb...is this Ethanol Salvation?

This looks very promising for those experiencing ethanol phase separation. They claim it will put the ethanol back in the fuel and allow the water to pass through and be burned. Sounds very promising. Has anybody been using this? I know it will go into my tank this Spring if no one has any reported problems with it.

Just read that in last weeks fishermen. Only one problem they recommend leaving the tanks full in the winter. So which is it full or empty? I have always gone with full, this year I will leave them empty or as close to empty as possible. I have racors feeding F250's with no problem yet.

So is this like dry gas for dry gas? If it emulsifies [breaks up] water, what stops it from absorbing more water?I'm not saying it doesn't work as I've never used it, but how exactly does it restore lost octane? That sounds a bit much.

Glen E'
Water Zorb is for the older formulated gas, E Zorb is for E-10. Two different products. If you use E-10, then use E-Zorb.

Of course I know that - just commenting on the fact that they make a good product in "water zorb"....

MDR is a reputable chemical Co. They make other good products.. I'll try it. Their "Store and Start", I believe was the first non alcohol fuel storage/stabilization product.

Thanks

I have been using Star*Tron Gasoline Additive since buying/using new boat in spring '05 - Has it worked magic? I don't know. I can say that I have had no issues with outboard engine performance or fuel filters. It would be nice to see a "true" third party test of all the new products showing up on the shelves. I have a 85 gal fuel tank that at the most usually gets a top off @16 gallons new gas each trip. I always keep tank full all year round - the more room you leave for air in a tank creates more surface area for condensation to form on.

The fisherman article was a presented as a real world test. Read it if you can it's compelling. Also, the argument is reinforced there for leaving tank full.

My mechanic says leave it half full, he will put in a stabilizer, in the spring put on a Racor filter and I'm good to go. We were going with the Racor anyway and we always listen to our mechanic, right!

My family used Star Tron for five months this year in a Yamaha 130 2-stroke, Yamaha 200 HPDI and a Yamaha 115 4-stroke. We had no problems whatsoever with contaminated fuel or water in the filters, and we credit this product for the good performance with E10. Our mechanic advises us to store the tanks nearly empty.

I used nothing like Startron, any other fuel stabilizer, or water absorber. The result.................I had no problems.

Pri-G works for me. Better chemistry than StarTron.

I run fuel stabilizer all year long. After all, we do experience condensation during the spring and summer. Found out about E-Zorb through my dealer. I will be running it instead of stabilizer next season along with ringfree.
About the tank full or empty.............I keep my boat at half tank all season(hot days-cool nights)never had a problem. 4 months of winter storage isn't any different. I'd rather start the season with a tank of fresh gas instead of 200 gal of crap.

I know john personally.
And he showed me pictures of phase seperation in a test tube
then the e zorb was added and the gas looked good and clean afterwards.
I didn't see the "repaired fuel" use in a combustion engine but I'm sure it would burn fine.
I think this stuff might be the real deal for e- 10 phase seperation problems.
He also told me a full tank and fuel stabilizer will help in the prevention of condensation.
The problem to me is no tank is perfectly full or totally empty but I have always put my boat away with a
full tank and plenty a stabil in the fuel. And I never had a water problem
