Its too late to talk me out of it so I figure the next best thing is to ask for comments from anyone who has experience with this boat. I bought a 1996 model. The mechanical survey and sea trial will probably be within the next week or so. Are there any issues that I should be looking for? Many thanks. Peter
A friend has one...all I can say is sweeeet. His is a 2000 model, he hasn't had any signifigant trouble with it, if any trouble at all. I looked it over pretty good first time out, meticulous fit and finish. Congrats
A friend just bought a 2865 Denali with the single diesel Volvo duoprop. A really tasty piece of gear. When I can sell my current thang, I have my eye on a 2000 2860 with twin Volvo 4.3s.
The 2460 is also a well thought out boat, and a good balance between a cruiser/family boat and an offshore fishing boat.
The build on all the Pursuits I have been on has been excellent. Good luck!
I have a 2001 Denali and am very happy with it. Don't have a lot of hours on it, but have had no problems. Handles what we consider rough water very well. Quality, fit and finish is excellent. The layout of the boat and multiple use design were what initially attracted me to it. My only concern is the Bravo 3 I selected. I keep it on a railway so I probably won't have problems with corrosion but am pretty disgusted that after all that money, it seems I bought an engineering nightmare...
