Default Little Downeast boat project- sweetheart of a boat.

I stumbled across this site in my travels about two years ago and then the page went down. Finally it is back to be admired. The boat is a 26' Jack Tar by Arch Davis design, built by gary zwissler. If you like downeast boats, give it a look.

I almost forgot, to get it to stop playing the dreadful mono-tune when the page starts, hit the stop button on your browser.

Looks like a great little dive boat not to mention fishing craft as well.

That is some very fine workmanship....having redone several boats I can barely imagine the effort required to build one like that. You should be very proud of your accomplishment!

I wish many happy hours enjoying the fruits of your labor.....

Congrats to a job WELL DONE!!!!

I have always wanted to build a boat. There is something special about a boat built out of wood. One of these days....probably when I retire 20 years from now!!!
