Default Good story but long read

Ill try make this short as possible.Been shopping since march for just the right boat for me, it is my first. Finally found it in florida worked on deal for 2 months.Had it surveyed 2 weeks ago sent my deposit the minute i got the survey.Went to my bank to get the financing no problem they called next day flatly refused me.I called them to tell them noway i just bought a chevy avalanche 2 yrs ago not a hitch and i already paid it off mortgage, credit cards always ontime.I went on the credit site bought a package to check my own credit and bingo there are judgements, lien on my house oh my god where did this come from.I have a 30 yr old son who was in a car accident 2 yrs ago so now we know where they came from.No problem ill just call the attorneys hospitals involved they have to know different age, social come on im 50 hes 30 someone has got to use common sense here .NOW after 2 weeks of arguments and phone calls everybody sees their mistake great this will be fixed.Wrong again hospital says not their fault attorneys handled this, attorneys say nothing we can do your beef is with credit reporting agencies. They did petition court to get lien off my house after i mentioned lawsuit. But besides giving me a letter wont help with credit reporting agencies.DAMN IM GOING TO LOSE THIS DEAL AFTER ALL THIS TIME.Wrong again i had a hunch on a 4 digit number yesterday in my state it pays 5000 to 1 i bought 11 tickets and won 52, 600 dollars in one shot ,Im paying cash for my boat still going to fix my own credit even if i have to sue somebody.I just wanted to share this with you all and would like your help naming my boat some how a name from some where in this story seems fitting.Would like to hear any comments or suggestions.

i have a washington mutual credit card that gives me my fico score for free every month. i probably should study the credit report twice a year, but i figure if something bad is happening i'll see the bad digits for free and know to look further...although thinking about it now, that may be too late?

i believe RI is going to be rolling out a PIN protection w/credit agencies...for a maximum fee of $10, you can require the credit agencies to not issue any credit information to potential creditors w/out a PIN...the thought being that even if someone got your ssn etc, they couldn't put you in debt w/out the PIN.

wtwagner, sorry to hear about your son & resulting mess, congrats on the lotto though! makes you think KARMA might be at play!

Just to let you know, contact the credit reporting agency that has the negative feedback on your credit report, they will fix it, they did for me and it was off within a week. You should not have to sue anyone or jump through hoops.
