Yamaha 200 HPDI idle - The Hull Truth

I need to idle my 200 HPDI down for slow trolling. Is this easy to do? I have idled down carb motors before but not a DI motor.

I wouldnt touch it. Throw out a bucket to slow you down.

What's it idling at in gear? The lowest mine will idle is 600 rpm. I cannot imagine it idling any lower.

Same here. Mine is at 600 rpm's and is pretty slow.

The only one doing that is the Merc Opti. At 550-570.

Hey Parrott, are you selling your Contender?

Sold it last year. I guess I'll leave the idle alone. The motor is on my sons 19 Cape Horn and it moves a little fast for live baiting.
