Random Quote: The cruise liner QE2 moves only six inches for each gallon of diesel that it burns.
I have a trailer that I would normally rent you for a dry storage exchange but I am getting maintenance done on the boat so she is ready for Fl/Ga weekend.
Thanks for the input guys. But I got to get her home first. Trying to find a trailer to rent or someone who can move the boat this weekend. No luck so far!
She in Tampa,North end of the Skyway bridge. Didn't want to spend $4000. on a trailer just yet. O well may have to unless somebody's got some input.
Would rather put that money into the boat for now. Off to work now, back in the morning. Check back then.
Thanks
PS
Got to move her up to Jacksonville
A couple of years ago there was a boat trailer sales/rental company East of the Gandy Bridge in Tampa (not extremely far from the Skyway area). I don't remember the name but it's east of Westshore Blvd and west of Dale Mabry hwy. Traveling East on Gandy Blvd it's on the left(north side of the road). Not sure if they're still in business but it's worth a try.
Good luck!

The boat is in South St. Petersburg. Tampa is across the bay. Sorry just a pet peeve. As Rodney says " We get no respect".
I lived in Tampa and fished in St. Pete for over 30 years. Hell, I even worked as an illustrator for the St. Pete Times while living in Brandon. The Gandy bridge area in Tampa and South Saint Pete are pretty close to each other in my book. Of course you're talking to a person that now lives in Sarasota and transports pinfish all the way up to Hurricane Pass in Dunedin just to catch a few monster snook. I even occasionally go up to The Anclote Power Plant to fish the outflow in cold weather (that's the mid 30's for you up north guys).
Hopping across the bay to rent a trailer to pick up a boat in St. Pete isn't a big deal to me. Now if you St. Pete folks have feelings of inadequacy that's not our problem.

1969 Bertram MK II 25 ft. Going to get her in the shop next week. In about 6 months she will be ready to go. You can bet my ex wife or anyone else going to take this one from me. Found her down in Tampa. Updates to come soon.
6 months seems way optimistic to me, but, maybe you have more time for projects than me...
