Anyone recommend boat ramps in the middle/southern Barnagat Bay?
Preferably on the mainland side.

Lookin to splash my 23' cc.

Thanks!

barnegat municipal ramp. exit 67 on the parkway, hang a left off the exit, go straight until you start passing marinas, there will be a big parking lot on the ride side with a gazebo, the ramp is in there. not sure if you still have to pay to use it, but the charge is cheap. about a 20 minute run to the inlet, mostly because of the no wake zone in between the channel and the inlet.

Thanks, Stevie.
Ever use the ramp at Trixie's Landing?
Or, anywhere on or near Cedar Creek?

Trixies is tricky due to water depth. Sometimes its there sometimes its not. I second the Barnegat Municipal ramp.

Be careful with trixie's.
I docked there one night (a bunch of us were camping in Forked River). Going in was great, it was high tide.

The next morning, couldn't budge the boat at low tide. They didn't tell me that when i asked about a transient slip.

There's a public ramp in point pleasant at the end of bay ave.

That's good information on Trixie's.

I'm looking to go fishing in the Bay and near shore this month. I'm just back from out of state where I purchased the boat (23' CC). Not real experienced yet so I'd like to avoid the tricky launches. Thanks for your recommendations.

Macs in Waretown is a good ramp, now called South harbor Marine I believe, and it is basically a straight shot across the bay to the inlet.

Barnegat municipal ramp definitely! A season permit is only $50.00 if you are from another town.
