Locking tongue on 5300# frozen .

Any thoughts?

You're not providing a lot of information here, but the suggestion of a penetrating solvent is a good one. I'm assuming you're talking about the coupler or actuator. If it's not connected to a vehicle at this point, look underneath where it fits over the ball. You may see a large adjusting nut. Try to loosen it. Look for the coupler or actuator manufacturer's name and check the Internet for their website. They often have owner's manuals and troubleshooting tips on the websites. Many sell repair parts. Replacing the coupler may be an option also.

BTW: Whatever you do, make sure the coupler is operating and adjusted correctly before you take the rig out on the road. You don't want it to fall off the ball and leave the boat in the middle of the highway!
