I'm going to be spending 9 days in Delray Beach, FL. I think I'll be about an hour north of Miami. Do any boat factories offer tours? Where are the big yards? Thunderboat Alley? Ritzy Marinas to drool at?

The two biggest manufacturers down here are Sea Vee and Dusky. Plenty of big marinas down in Fort Lauderdale. Sailfish Marina in Palm Beach is pretty cool. Plenty to do and see. Where ae you staying? The Marriott?

Check out Bahia Mar and Pier 66 if you want just want to drool and walk docks. Depending on your timimg, they maybe closed for the Boat Show (10/26 to 10/30).
The other option is to rent a boat and cruise the ICW and the canals. Great way to see boats and real estate.

Monte's Happy Hour, on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove. Grab a drink and then you can walk around looking at the boats. I live in Delray now, Monte's on Friday afternoon is one of the only things I miss from when I lived in Miami.
