I am running about 5800 RPMs in my boat and I was told that might be to high for a 4 stroke. I have a 19 pitch prop and I like to run wide open. The motor in not screaming when I am running. I would like to know if that is ok are do I need an 21 pitch prop? dose anybody know about this?
6000 is the top and it will limit at 6100 so you're well within the range. Most people like to be near the top of the range so I wouldn't go with a 21 I think you're about right with the 19
