Thats is good news for me. I got a ? how come the 250 is 2k more then the 225. There is only a 1k difference between the 200 and 225. Now we all know its the same basic engine. I knwo you cant sell them at the same price but what give on the 250 that makes it 2k more in value??? Suzuki use to come standard with a SS prop in the price. Is that still the case? I am running a 2000 suzuki 225 now.

Replacing the Yamaha line-up?
I read somewhere that Yam won't allow loose engine sales anymore.

Variable Timing in the 250 and not the 225. That's my guess...

I think yamaha is in trouble and they know it. They were the first to a 4stroke 225 and since then they've gotten beat all the way to 300. They better have that 325-350 V8 that has been rumored around here and get it in a hurry or else.

The Suzuki 250 is $1500 more exspensive than the Yamaha. Suzuki used to be the least exspensive

What's up with the pricing on the Johnson and Suzuki 115's and 140's?

Johnson 115 6499
Suzuki 115 7299

Johnson 140 8999 (should be $6999 )
Suzuki 140 7999

Johnson vs. Suzuki

For one thing you don't get the 6 year "peace of mind" package with the Johnson.

2K for Variable Timing. Seems like a lot for 25 hp and the hardware to make it. Then whats the 1k difference for the 225 over the 200?
