I am seriously looking at a 2007 Sea Hunt Victory 207 walkaround with a 150 Yama. Recently tested it and like the ride. I can not find any information on pricing like MSRP to give me a reference on what the dealer and I should be negotiating on. Has anyone recently purchased or try to negotiate a price. Any info about the price or anyone that has an experience with the Sea Hunts would be appreciated. The boat has very little options on it. Thanks in advance for your help.
Contact Ed's marine for a price quote. http://www.edsmarinesuperstore.com/ That should give you a pretty good idea of around the cheapest price you can expect to pay. You can use that price to shop locally unless you happen to be in Virginia.

Thanks guys but Marc from Ed's refused to give me a price over the phone, internet or fax. I told him that I was looking for the msrp and he replied that he did not know it but assumed it was in the range of 50 to 60% above dealer cost. After that comment I knew he had been smokin something very strange. I live in nothern NY and I would not travel 8 to 10 hours without knowing the price range. Not very good southern hospitality that I have become accustom to. He reminded me of a hot shot sales idiot guy from NYC.
You don't need to travel to VA to get a good price on a Sea Hunt ... there are a coupld of very reputable dealers here in NJ. PM me and I can give you the details.
Like Dowop said, no reason to travel that far. Theirs J&B in Westville NJ. Great father and son shop. Ask for Ed. Was not the best price, but was close to me and very honest and up front. They had installed my Garmin 2010C for me. During the sea trail their was a problem with the sounder. They would'nt let me leave until "they" had corrected the problem. Nice bunch of guys. Their right off of Rt 295. J&B has been selling Sea Hunts for about 10 years.

I just took delivery of my first boat, Triton 207 today. You might find some assistance on the Sea Hunt Boat Owner's Group website. I trolled it for weeks along with this site. Luckily, there was a person on the other site that had a quote from Chatlees on the same boat with almost the same options. I was trying to decide between buying from local dealer or some other with better price. The price difference was about $1500 less for his boat, but with the additional options I was getting, the difference shrunk considerably and made it an easy decision to buy local.
I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Took her out this afternoon for a spin with the salesman to make sure everything was working ok, and loved it. There was a decent chop to see how she would handle a little wave action. I can't wait for this weekend. Btw, thanks to all who post here esp hullslap who I see over on the Sea Hunt site as well. The information on this site is invaluable to a new boater like myself.
JT_6 I am sorry if I came off as abbrasive. I type that standard message to people asking for price because Sea Hunt will no longer allow their dealers to advertise any prices or quote them unless they are in your store. This is NOT a Ed's Marine Superstore policy its a Sea Hunt policy.
When you asked for MSRP I have never looked at it and I was being honest. It will probably about 50% above our price. Its not a figure we ever use and if you start there you need to do some major negotiations.
jt 6, I did buy a Sea Hunt after looking at other boats. I had an 05 202 with a Yamaha 150 4 stroke on it. Had to sell it because I had lost my job. Things are back on track and I'm in the process of looking again. I loved the boat. Problems, very minor. Had some leaking in the CC but that was fixed in about 10 min. For the money Sea Hunts are a great value. I paid around 24K for the boat, engine and Sea Lion trailer with SS disc brakes. Over the web I bought an Icom 402, Garmin 2010C Navman 2100 fuel gauge, BEP dual battery switch and a few other things. J&B installed everything for around $400.00. I could have gone to VA or NC and saved a grand or so but I'm pretty big on supporting your local dealer. Since I had been to J&B 3-4 times over a month before putting down a deposit I felt very comfortable with them. You might also want to check out the Sea Hunt owners site. http://p090.ezboard.com/bseahuntownersgroup
PM me if you have any more questions.

I bought my Sea Hunt from Ed's Superstore 2 years ago. I live in New Hampshire and saved $7500 by buying it there, ok, $7300. The other $200 was in gas money to get her home. The sales staff was very professional and courteous and the southern hospitality was way cool. I can't say enough good things about my Triton 220, very dependable, sea worthy and quality boat. It has gotten me home in some serious slop from 40 miles offshore.

Causeway Marine in Manahawkin, NJ (near LBI) no longer carries Sea Hunt (I think they only carried them for a couple of years) and I know nothing about Lightning Jacks. I think they used to carry Sea Boss.
For sure both the dealers that I recommended have been long term Sea Hunt dealers. I bought from Mercer Marine and I've had some service done by J&B. Both A+ in my opinion.
If you want to travel a little further south... check out Sturgis Marine in Delaware. I visited them in the boat shopping process as well. They have a very good reputation for sales and service.
JT6- If you are in Northern New York... There is a new Sea Hunt Dealer in Binghamton. Eye Rock Marine. I bought a trailer form them last year, good to deal with for that FWIW.
I bought a sea pro quite a few years back from Causeway, a guy named Ted was great. It was used, had a few issues and they took care of them quickly. When I tried to get prices on a sea hunt and I told them I needed to sell a boat first, they ( not Ted ) weren't interested at all. Lightning Jack's helped me sell my boat and I've dealt with them for 4 years now.
Thanks alottt guys. Great information and alot to digest. I had heard from a local bass guy that his group have been going south for boats for years and have saved thousands each trip. He recommended Ed's and Chatlee's as place to check out among a few. So that why I started there but as some of you have recommended there are other opportuniites locally. So Again thanks and good fishing. If your ever up around the Big Lake shout out for Live-2- Fish he will probably be fishing in a new sea hunt in the spring JT.
Jt- The sea hunt policy is certainly a pain. Anything else you buy in world they will at least give you a ballpark over the phone. I too traveled from columbia sc to chatlee nc and saved about 10%! Believe me I did my homework and went to 2 other dealers before going there. Interestingly, Sea Hunt made this "rule" to protect their local Columbia dealer. People should be able to shop wherever they want without the Company putting up barriers...i.e. there's a reason people are traveling 3 hours to another state to buy a boat that is made and sold in their hometown! Good news- that policy is the only problem Ive had with sea hunt. (altough,my bimini on my 07' 22 escape had a dozen holes in it when I first opened it ...but they replaced it immediately)
Location: Los Angeles, FL.or Georgia, depends. In Fl now.

I saw an ad in Jan 05' for about 25,900 bare with a f150. you will need to ad horn, seating, ttop, propeller, trailer, etc. about around 32+ Plus tax etc. Since then they upped the price..
