Did you use your boat more this season or less or the same compared to last season/other years?
I repowered this past May and while I didn't go out as much as some other years, on the whole, I had the ability and confidence to go farther with the new engine. I think I used the boat more this season than last though, but the one year I used it the most was when I lived/summered where the boat was. Had I access to the boat, that is, if it were closer and not 100 miles away, I'm sure I'd go out on weekday nights and would have used it way more. The one summer I lived/worked nearby, I was on it to commute to work, fished after work, and spent entire days all weekend on it, that was a summer to remember for me.

I was on the boat tinkering alot more than in the past. But, as far as using it for fishing or cruising, it was much less than i realized. Nothing mechanically wrong with the boat just spent alot of time polishing and tinkering at the dock rather than busting up some waves.

Less. More time coaching. Tough weather. A health issue...... I am debating whether or not to pull my boat out early October instead of mid November; the weeks needs another day added in.
Location: Los Angeles, FL.or Georgia, depends. In Fl now.

Number of outings way up. Hours up slightly. We've had lots of fish in close to the marina most of the summer and really cut down on running to fishing spots and time required to limit out. Saved a bunch on gas too!

Personal boat has not been in the water, YET, this year, even after installing trim tabs, new electronics and a CD player/stereo.
Spent more time on the charterboat this year, although bookings so far are about 2/3s of last year. When not on it, fixing the house from Katrina (also still not completely finished).
Talking around the dock, a lot less charters were booked than last year.

Used it a lot less! 20 hours on the Sea Pro so far...
Came home early from FL to do a little project; Tear my livingroom completely down to the floor and build a new one. I will tell you for sure, my days of carrying 2x10 x16's up two flights of steps are over for good.
Water temps are starting to drop, getting ready to do some plugin... AND have new boat for the rips... The fall looks promising!

More,
After the repower, I've put more hours on the boat in the last three weeks than all told last fall. Mostly cruising, but I'm getting ready to do some serious fishing. Striper season should be GOOD for me!
