I don't think so. Most likely shot with a ND filter for a several second exposure.

This is from last night. As Hermine was turning to the east, this was looking to our west. That little hole in the middle that has grayish color on both side is rain from the upper clouds. The picture really doesn`t do it any justice. It was an awesome sunset last night.

Not your typical Storm photo, but this was our towns mayor who had come via boat to pick the wife and I up so we could come down out of our attic

This was in the middle of Hurricane Hermine at about 3am

Hard to believe we were just walking down those streets.

Everyone with their homes and business's.

83 West was only open 4 months. Almost everything that was improved, now lost.
No insurance.
$100,000.00 premium, $100,000.00 deductible.
First storm anywhere near this bad in 11 years.
Who would have thought this could of happened.

Terrible for all.

First picture is taken at Kill Devil Hills, NC last week, Storm spun off as remnants of Invest 91 and Gaston moved by.

Second set was taken at Manteo, NC. Storm in outer bands of Hermine as she appraoched. We were under a Tropical Storm Warning / Tornado Watch at that time. Produced some heavy rain and flooded roads.

Damn iPhone always posts sideways.

Straight and level flight. Wasn't about to get all crazy before punching in IMC in a VFR aircraft.

A small squall blew through during lunch. Winds went from almost nothing to 25 miles steady breeze with some good gusts.

Pat,
I looked at your photos and video.
I hope you don't mind, I took two screen captures and a photo I took before Hermine of the same area, your building, when we were just there for comparison.
A few others also.

83 west is getting the second floor ready to open before the first floor.
Rebuilding the missing deck and have plans to add a second deck off the second floor to store the propane tanks, co2 tanks and anything else that needs to be protected for the next one..... that we all hope never happens.

Today's weather looked to be a quite dynamic with storms and awesome cloud structure. So this afternoon I packed my gear and drove down to Anahuac Wildlife Refuge in hopes to catch some storminess and or an awesome sunset. By the time I got to the Refuge things dulled out and was eerily calm, so I had to adapt. I drove down to the Frozen Point area and found a spot that intrigued me. It was a shot of a whole lot of nothing. I don't know that I have ever seen the Bay this calm. I love this shot.
