Default Atlanta boat show

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post. Has anyone been to the Atalanta boat show within the last 2 years? I have read it was extremely fresh water heavy years ago. Still the case?

I've been the last few years and will be going Friday and yes, it's overwhelmingly freshwater. It's primarily a pontoon/ski/wakeboard/cruiser type show. What saltwater boats you'll see there are going to be mostly midrange boats.

The only time I went was back in 2010, and was very disappointed to see all of the freshwater boats, but very few saltwater boats. I may go friday after 5PM for the $5 admission and look mostly at the saltwater boats. The freshwater slant makes sense, but I think I saw where Tidewater and Robalo will at least be represented?

I may go tomorrow night....won't go anywhere near there on Saturday with the 4:30 Falcons playoff game next door.

I used to enjoy it more...the stuff for sale in the back has shrunk to a selction of marinas and vacation places, insurance, boat loans, sunglasses and Cutco knives. I miss the days when E&B, West, Boaters World etc...all had stuff for sale that you could buy on the spot.

We went tonight and was pleasantly surprised on how much salt water there was. Still only 10% of what was there though. Man that Robalo R302 is nice.

Thanks for letting me know. What other saltwater brands were there? I'm ok with only 10% b/c it means I wont feel bad if I only pay $5 per person and don't have to spend too much time there on a Friday night.
