Anyone know how the Naples fla boat show is. Is i worth going to.

I've never been to the Naples show, but the Ft. Myers Boat Show actually sucked this year. I went by boat and for some reason they don't charge if you dock at the public dock. This is a good thing because it was that bad!!! there were half the vendors that were there 2 years ago. I understand the economic climate, but lets not forget that as of 2010, Lee County had the 2nd largest number of registered boats in the State, only Dade County was ahead. There are some "Big Timers" in the industry that build boats in our backyard so to speak who put together a piss poor showing this year. Miami is coming up and I would bypass anything over here to check it out, I plan on going to the Ft. Lauderdale show this year!!

The weather was cloudy today so i decided to go to the Naples boat show . The show wasn't bad a lot of boats decent number of brands key west,grady,regulator,cobia,scout,everglades,chris craft,tidewater just to name a few. Also had a venders display tent not a huge show but a nice way to spend a cloudy day and well worth the drive from Cape Coral

I'm glad to hear it was Ok.... I should have clarified in my earlier post that The Naples show is much smaller than the Ft. Myers show. And I will stand by earlier post that the Ft. Myers show sucked!!! If your here for a vacation I apologize for the weather. And I'm glad you were able to spend a cloudy day doing something we all love to do... Look at boats!!! may the rest of your time be filled with boating excellence.

No need to apologize for the weather it's been great since we got here the end of December. That was the first cloudy day and i will take that over the weather they are having on Cape Cod Ma. This is the first time bring my new boat and i am having a great time in Cape Coral.
