Default Sling Lift - Boston Whaler

Hey there boatlift, I was wondering if you'd give me some insight.

I'd like to install a lift for my 1984 Boston Whaler 25', but we live on a tidal creek, and I'd like to use a sling lift to salvage as much water depth as I can.

However, I've read that people have previously had problems with sling lifts and Boston Whalers. Evidently, the slings, over time, will cause indentation into the hull/foam.

Do you have any experience with this? My boat overall weighs around 5250-5500lbs.

Thanks

Mick
