Default 2016 Sea Chaser HFC

Hello I am looking for a boat cover for my new 2016 Sea Chaser 24 foot HFC center console with hardtop T-top. It has Twin Suzukis on the back if that helps any.

Thank you for your time

Thanks for posting! We can help you cover your Carolina Skiff, and we can offer you 10% off our online price for contacting us off THT. Here is a link to the cover we offer for your boat:

https://www.boatcoversdirect.com/pro...x108x0/motor/2

This is a full boat cover which is made to go up and over your T-top. This cover has zippers on either side so you can access the boat while it is covered. It also has a draw rope in the hem, and it comes with a rope ratchet to enable you to pull that snug. Additionally, you will receive a tie down kit, storage bag, reinforcement kit and support poles. The poles have tennis balls on top of them, and they are designed to sit inside your rod holders, so the cover is not applying pressure to your equipment.
Here are some links to photographs which show how these covers are made to work:

The covers are designed to go over the boat and outboard motor in one piece. We will go up a size larger to accommodate for your Twin Suzuki’s.
Do you have anything else that may add length to your boat? Such as a bow pulpit, anchor davit, etc.? Please let us know what kinds of questions you may have. You are welcome to email or call us- we are more than happy to help you. Our toll-free number is 1-866-626-8377 and we are located in SC. We are in the office Monday-Friday from 9-5 Eastern Time.

Thank you,

We do have an anchor mounted on the front of the bow other than that I do not believe there is anything else. What is the difference between the polyguard and sun-dura fabrics?

Thank you

Thank you for your reply!

The cover may already have enough material to accommodate for your anchor, but that will depend on how much length it adds. According to the dimensions listed on Carolina Skiff’s site, your boat is 23’9”. Do you happen to know the length of your boat including the anchor? If the anchor does not add more than about 10-12” of length, I do not think it will be an issue.

The PolyGuard and SunDURA fabrics are very similar. Both are marine grade, loom woven polyester fabrics, and are extremely strong and durable. The difference lies mainly in the fact that the SunDURA is a coated fabric, and will therefore provide a bit more water repellency and UV/fade resistance. Both fabrics are excellent however, and would be a good choice for just about any area. Please let us know if you have additional questions about the materials, or may like us to send you some fabric samples.

Thank you,

Measuring from the front of the anchor to the very back of the twin engines with them in the down position was 27 feet.

Thank you

Great! The provided link will allow for a centerline up to 25'6", which does not include the actual motors in the length. It sounds like this cover would provide your boat a great fit. Let me know what other questions you may have and I'm happy to help!

So does that mean the cover will not fit over my motors? I would like protection for my motors as well. Would I have to go up a size or just get covers for the motors themselves?

Thank you!!

Hey there! I apologize I was not more clear with my reply. Yes, the cover will go over the outboard motors, you just don't include those in your measurement because the cover already allows for them. So, with your boat measuring 27' with the anchor and folded down motors, it sounds like the 25'6" would be a great fit (considering just over 1' for the depth of the motors). We would also recommend the motors be stored in the tilted position to provide the best fit.

Let me know what other questions you may have!

Thanks

Yes I spoke with someone who stated the 10 percent would go back to my card within a couple days as I did not receive it at checkout.

We received the cover yesterday....fits great!!!! Just wish it had more straps in the front to tie it down.

That is such great news! Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback on your new cover. Give me a call about those straps, I'm sure we can work something out!

You spoke with Natalie on Tuesday and I was able to refund the 10% discount back to the card of original purchase, so you should see that post to your account any day now!

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

Thanks
