why is the price on this older, smaller CC hydra-sport with much less motor so close in price to the new DC with V6 motor?

Well, the DC is only 20ft and this one is 21ft, not to mention the t-top as an option. That alone makes up the difference in motor pricing. SO, I would say that this boat a year older, but new, with the options is equal to the newer DC that is smaller and with a larger motor.
