Default ELCI Panels

Bass has recently introduced a line of enclosure mounted ELCI panels. These panels are designed for ABYC requirement E11.11.1 which requires an earth leakage circuit interrupter (ELCI) at the main shore power disconnect breaker or at the additional over current protection whichever is closer to the shore power connection.

When the ELCI detects a current leakage of more than 30 mA it will trip disconnecting shore power until the fault is removed and the ELCI is reset. This is very similar to how a GFCI works but with a higher trip current to prevent nuisance tripping.

Bass offers two size panels with either single or double shore power configurations available. Both 30 amp and 50 amp breakers can be installed. Operating instructions and warnings are clearly printed on the panel for easy reference.

If you have any questions on these panels just let us know.
