I have 17 pitch Rebel, lightly used. Looking to step down to 15 pitch. Would prefer a trade rather than a sale. Paid $425 brand new a month a nd a half ago.

If you cant find a trade I would be willing to consider buying outright. We'll give it a little time. I have not tried a Rebel yet but since the dealer does not have a demo program I have to bite the bullet.

Thanks 606zpx, I will post some pics too. Make me an offer, I might have to buy a new 15 pitch anyway, since not too many people would have it..

You may want to try out a mirage. Worked very nicely on my rig. 15 3/4" x 15P. Better speed @ cruise and easier to keep on plane. Blew away Viper 17P, Rev 4 15P, Enertia 16P, and even better than my BRP aluminum 15P, which was the best I had run to date. BTW, the eclosure rocks!

I have a 15 pitch OMC prop. I bought it new to use for a spare if I had to come in on one engine. I will take 175 for it. It is counter rotating though. That may not be any good for you.

Lex2006, thanks but I need standard rotation...

I am glad the enclosure worked out... I am thinking of switching to 15 pitch rebel, I liked 17 a lot, but did not get enough rpms out of it. 5300-5400 at best with light load. What performance numbers are you getting with 15 pitch merc prop? What is your top end and what rpms you getting?

I will buy it from you let me know

With the mirage, I'm getting about 33 mph at 4400-4500 rpm and 42 mph at 5200 rpm WOT. Also, I stay up on plane easily at 3800 rpm, something I could not do with any other prop I've tried. With the aluminum BRP I was getting about 29-31 mph @ 4700 rpm and 41 mph @ 5400 rpm WOT. I've never been able to get more than 5400 rpm, but I'm sure you would spin that with the extra hp. The 17 Viper, 15 Rev 4, and 16 Enertia all ran in the 24-28 mph range at 4500 rpm and all were worse at getting on plane and staying on plane (was surprised the rev 4 wasn't better). I think the key with the mirage is the larger wheel - 15 3/4". Never tried the rebels or other BRP props... my mechanic has all of the Merc demo props.

Thanks Drew, I should get 5600 - 5800 rpms out of depending on the load.
I added pictures, you wont be dissapointed, it is new..

If you are interested I have a Mercury Mirage Plus (their latest), 15.5 x 15, hubbed for the E-tec (I also have a hub kit for a Mercury for 20.00) that I will sell for 300.00 plus UPS shipping. I used it three times and then went to a Rebel four blade. The prop has a scratch on the edge of each blade that we have no idea how it got there. I had it checked a t the prop shop and they said there is no physical damage.

Thanks, but I just ordered 15 pitch Rebel.

I mispoke above - I went with a 17" 4 blade Renegade, not a Rebel (they don't make a 4 blade Rebel)
I also ordered a 17" Rebel. I'll let you know how it does, would appreciate hearing hoe the 15" does for you.

Rebel would give you a better cruising speed, where renegade would be better out of the hole. Judging your signature and boat make and model 17 pitch rebel is the prop for you.
