Hull specs on these boats are extremely close. Pricing with 150-200 4-strokes are also comparable.
The old Kencraft 206 would have been an easy pick over the Sea Pro (of course it used to cost a lot more), but what do people think of the new Sea King version?
If you had $30-32K to spend on one with T-top, trailer, hydraulic steering and tabs, which would win out? Sea Pro would have a Verado 200, Sea King would most likely have a Suzuki 150 or 175.

Personally. I would not hang a 650-lb. Verado on the transom of a 20-ft. Sea Pro. The 200 Optimax weighs 200 lbs. less and is also available with SmartCraft and the DTS system.

Sea King for my $
I have a 2 month old 2006 206CC Sea Pro with 150 Verado, T-Top on it and it has all the power I need. Factory rigged. Could have used a 175. They both weigh the same and are the same block. I too wouldn't hang the extra weight of a 200 Verado this hull either.
Brand new the 150 was pushing the boat with moderate load at 5400 RPMs and 38-39 MPH w/ 17P Mirage prop. After 24+ hours into use/break-in I'm now turning 61-6200 RPMs and 44-45 MPH. The 150 has plenty of power. The 175 would be killer. These Verados are definitely tight until you get past the 20 hour timeframe on them. Love it so far though.
That said, I am very underwhelmed with the Sea Pro. I have one place in the hull outside the stringer where water gathers with no way to drain it out, even on a steep hill w/ plug out. Other quality items are marginal.
I looked at the Sea King too, but originally wasn't going to spend 30K, so ruled it out. Plus, I was concerned about the 1st year hull. Had I taken longer to search and hadn't been in quite such a hurry to get a boat when I did, I might have gotten the Sea King, or a Sea Hunt.
I have called the Sea Pro factory numerous times for questions and concerns, and in all but 1 occasion, they haven't returned my call and I have had to just get lucky and catch the right guy in the office at the time. They have provided good info when I have gotten a human though. There are numerous quality items I have issue with. I'm working thourgh them or resolving them myself. Still have to figure out this water in the hull thing though. Not very reassuring.
Should have gotten another McKee, but couldn't spend that much that right now.
PM me if you need more info.

I don't need to go more than 45 MPH. Very happy with 150 performance so far.
