1987 15' Center Console Whaler. Factory original hull excluding the anchor hatch (have the original as well). The hull has no extra drilling other then for the GPS/FF combo (lowrance M68C) which I installed over Memorial Day weekend. All lighting works in the boat. Mahogany seats are in good shape. I intended to strip them down at the end of the season but they are perfectly fine as is.
Motor: 1987 Yamaha Pro 50. (The pro model indicates power trim and tilt). In 1999 a brand new factory block was installed on the motor. It has less then 100 hours of run time since. Motor starts on the first turn of the key and is more then enough power for the boat (Cruises at 30mph according to the GPS 3,800 rpms). Never tried top end speed as 30 was quick enough for me.
Trailer is a 1988 Shore Lander trailer in good shape with new tires. All lighting works.
Included in the sale: Anchor, life jackets, brand new GPS/FF unit (retail at $400) Fire extinguisher, Quart of Micron CSC and some other odd's and ends.
Truly a great deal. The boat was only kept in the water for one month a year prior to my ownership. It is bottom painted and currently in my slip. There is no water intrusion in the hull whatsoever. No soft spots, transom is rock solid. Turn key rig.
I purchased the boat in early May with the intentions of converting it to a Mini-Montauk (bow rails, raised console etc). Problem is time....I have used the boat about 7x (and its two blocks away from me.....). Just not enough time to enjoy it let alone devote the offseason to modifying her. Additionally, we are expecting our second son in August so I anticipate time becoming even more of a commodity in the near future.
Asking price is 5,700 or b/o. Pictures will be available shortly. If you are interested in taking a look or would like an in water demo let me know.
