I have an older Yamaha fuel managment systems hooked up to a GPS. The speedometer reads 0 and just a "-". I would think that it should still work even though it doesn't feed info to the FMG. Thanks in advance.

THanks Drifter! By the sound of it the speedo should still work. I'll put some air into it and clear it out.

why would you clear the tube if its hooked up to the GPS? The tube is not relevant. check your wiring and dip switches

The tube is what feeds the speedo. The gps feeds the fuel managment guage.
