Anyone know about this Float Tech brand style 008_240_001_013
It is a jacket with removable sleeves with a auto inflate vest it seems good for both cooler weather and warm with the removable sleeves. Yes we carry the Foat Tech Jacket it is a great looking jacket that does have the removeable sleeves to be a vest in warmer weather. The Jacket is quite comfortable and when needed is turns into an inflatable vest with 35 pounds of inflation We sell this to THT members at $250.00

Thanks Jim, I'm out a lot by myself and will be out early in the spring so a jacket that I would wear to keep warm as opposed to leaving a life vest in the cabin seems like a good idea. Do you recommend one type or brand over another? I see the float tech is waiting for coast guard certification is this a problem if I have plenty of other certified's on board? I like the fact that the sleeves can be removed .Again thanks for your advice...Les

The Floatec is now USCG Aproved, although it really doesn't matter with the other ones on board. Flotec just recieved the approval a week ago so you will here more aboput them soon. They are pretty comfortable and the convertible part is nice to be able to use it as a vest or a jacket. And a jacket is always a nice thing to have in th afternoons and mornings when boating. If you happen to wear a size large. I have three of these in stock that are from earlier this year so they are not the approved ones. These are at a really special price of $125 but I only have three Large.
