I'm interested to hear anybody who has or knows somebody with this setup on a 26'/23'. Any stats? This is my dream setup, I've yet to come across any info about it. Thanks

Mike

Last spring when I bought my Pacific Jay told me about a customer putting a Verado on either a 23 or 26. Give him a call...I am sure he can help you out.

i'm going to repower mine (19) soon...
i thought about the 150 but it makes more sense to stay with suzuki, plus transom weight is a concern...
sure would be sweet though

I almost went with the Verado but I couldnt justify the additional rigging charges it would have cost. As it is, I spent too much on all the other toys anyways

I am concerned about transom weight as well. Anybody know if their is a recommended max weight for the engine? According to Merc's site the 250 weighs about 650 lbs with a 25" shaft. Anything to be worried about? Rigging is expensive, I'm guessing its going to be minimum 20k when I'm done

I would like to hear some numbers, especially with the weight of these boats, I bet it would really haul ass

Osis - I have a Pacific 23 Walk Around with a Suzuki DF250 with a 30" leg. Today I did a demo ride for a fellow and we were doing an honest 47 mph into a 17 knot headwind. The transom on the Pacific is designed for a twin application, so a single verado would be no problem. The transom's are very beefy, by design, but I'm not sure what the max weight would be.
