Anybody know from practical experience what the differenece would be between 2 RH's and 1LH or 2LH's and 1 RH in a triple engine set up. Boat would be a deep V 36' center console with Yamaha 200's. Presumably either the single LH or RH in either scenario would have to be one of the outside engines. This is a first for the builder who normally fits twin diesel jets.

It's kind of slow 'round here right now.. Someone will be around soon... ;)

As far as I know, you mount the two standard (RH) rotating with one in the middle and one at starboard and then the counter rotating (LH) mounts on port.

I would call the manufacturer to see what they recommend. They should be able to tell the recommended props with performance numbers too!

I have a hydra sports with trips. Set up is as described above. Two outside motors are 25" shafts, port is counter rotating and starboard is standard. Center motor is 30" shaft standard rotation.

Reelwork, its a first for the manufacturer, boats are normally rigged with diesel jets, Big Ed - how are you propped and toeed, did you try different engine heights etc and did the variations make much difference.
