Yup

There is a new posting whore on THT . . . 282

Capt. Squiddly got hooked on THT and he has inked the forum with over 3,000 posts

On Aug 31 2005 he made his 1,000 th post

On Oct 17 2005 he made his 2,ooo th post

And today he busted the 3,000 post barrier

Incredible

But who is Squiddly ;? ;? ;?

He knows enough about boats to have been in the business for quite a while, or has he ;?

He talks about being a student, but I have no idea what he is studying ;?

He sure talks a good line about fishing, is it us who are taking the bait ;?

Ahhhhhh, what the heck . . . he is a nice guy . . . he supports the board . . . and he is a gentlrman

I've heard you say that you are a college kid? I can relate, only 2 years out myself. What are you studying, (besides fluid dynamics & anatomy), and when do you have time to study, or go to class?

As of now, Im double majoring in Finance and Business Law. I only have class Mon-Thursday and about 2.5hrs a day. Therefore, Im on my computer usually 10+ hours a day doing work. I just keep THT minimized on my computer

I grew up fishing with my dad (who is a former charter captain) and his friends (most of whom are charter captains and seasoned offshore veterans). That fishing knowledge combined with my retail/electronics/misc. experience from working at West Marine for two years, has deffinitly helped me find my passion in life. Im just glad I can share my own personal knowledge with you all, at the same time learn new and exciting things about boating and fishing. Weird as it may seem, towards the end of my stint at WM, I became a consultant for new boat owners. A lot of customers were very happy with the service I provided them at WM, that they hired me to follow them through theire new boat purchase, eventually rigging the boat with everything they wanted and needed. Next summer, I will probably be found in Montauk, NY working on a private sportfisherman, but thats still not final as of yet.
