2005 Fountain 34/Triple OPti 225s
58 mph with full fuel and 5 guys plus gear and a 200lb Mako in 2-3 following seas.
45 mph in 3-4 foot headsea if you dont care about your knees the next day
about 1.3 mpg at 4200.
??? MPG WOT(try looking at a Mercury smart guage going 63 mph)
$$$ same as a 34 yellowfin & See Vee, way less than a 33 Hydro. Just under a 36 contender (all w/ triple Optis.) I looked hard at each one. (Hydro had trip 300hpdis)

55 MPH Loaded to the max. 525 gals fuel,4 guys, livewell full, 20 gals fresh water, the typical tackle and provisions.
The speed in a 3-4 ft. headsea is an interesting ? The boat can maintain the 55 MPH without a problem of any damage to the boat, but at 40 years of age I prefer to keep it down to something less punishing to me @40 MPH but it depends on the spacing of the seas. Dont think that my ego lets many other boaters get around me in a tournament situation though, my crews safety is the important issue.
MPG @ 4500 RPM is @ 1.25 loaded but I have seen higher when running light.
MPG @ WOT is @1.01 loaded.
I purchased a boat that was 11 months old so the price was around 45k less than a new boat rigged the same. This boat new rigged is around 210k.
