I know there is another thread on Oak Island, but I wanted to post this one for the ones that watched the program tonight. 1/5/14. And what you thoughts are now after you have seen the first show.

I was up at a cousin's in Ga. on a visit when I was a teenager. He took me to a hole on the side of a small hill close to his house, it was covered with thick brush and was hard to find. We took a long rope and a flashlight with us, we tied the flashlight on the end of the rope and let it down in the hole. The rope was a 100 ft long and we could see the light to about 75 feet down and then we could not see it. My cousin said he and others had dropped all kind of stuff down in the hole over the years. That was the first thing I thought about when they dropped the camera down and said they saw things that were man made. But I liked tthe show and hope they find out what its all about.

having read the story, I was looking forward to watching the show, but they really didn't do that much? I guess they are just getting started.

After reading the story the main thing they will have to figure out is how to stop the water from coming in, that was the main problem over the years for all the other failures.

I watched 10 minutes, and, in my opinion, it sucked.

No clue what Oak Island is, what they are doing there, and what they are looking for.

To the producers - build up a stoy line - it greatly helps the viewer.
