Try something different on your next set up stand up rods! Treat yourself to a set of our custom stand up rods finished off with the top of the line Winthrop Express Series roller guides!!
We have been using these beautiful roller guides on custom sets for over the past few years now and they truly make a beautiful rod when they get finished.

We can make these in our 30-50# or the 50-100# class.
They also come with the Black rollers or the Silver rollers.
These rods come with the 2 piece aluminum Stuart butts.
All rods will be made to order so you can select whatever colors you like.
The build time is 4-6 weeks.

We are selling these rods for $450 each for THT members for a limited time.
Pay for quality once and you will have it forever!! These rods are as good as they come!!
(FedEx shipping is $20 total for 1 rod or more.)

These are the ball bearing Express series. I love making stand up rods with them! They are just beautiful!!
We can also make them with the Excel rollers for a few dollars extra.

Bryan, what's the difference between Stuart roller guides and the Winthrop Excel roller guides? Is there a significant price difference in a rod made with one or the other?
The Stuart 2 piece butts, can you make the rod to allow for swap out a straight butt for a bent butt? I have a couple 50W Avets I'd like to match up on a set of roller rods but would like to have flexibility of bent and straight butts for different uses. What lengths or range of lengths do you make these rods?

Wow!
Beautiful rods. Here is what I'm thinking; (4) just as pictured w/ black Winthrop Excel Series guides matched to Penn 80 VSW reels. Same question, "the Stuart 2 piece butts, can you make the rod to allow for swapping out a straight butt for a bent butt?" Build time still 4-6 weeks? Will need to check on my rod holders for proper depth but believe the gunnel holders are Lee flush mounts. These rods would be destined for Hawaii, so any recommendations would be appreciated.

These guides are awesome. Fished offshore a few weeks ago and they are pretty damn smooth. Mate kept talking how much easier they were to work with after the captain had them re-wrapped with these. Best of luck, I hope to order a customer chunking weapon soon

Thank you. I look forward to helping you in the near future.
These guides are definitely some of the very best that we have used. They are extremely lightweight, very quiet and smooth with a huge knot clearance.

Those rods look familiar! Guys, Bryan did a couple of these rods for me last month to put some 50W's on and they are awsome! I wasn't familiar with the Winthrop guides, but I dare you to try and find one bad comment anywhere on the net about them. Thanks again Bryan!
