I have a 99 Force rigged on the boat now. Will the harness on the force plug into the harness on the mercury. The current harness is a round plug with (i dont know how many) pins. Maybe 7-12 pins that plugged into the motor underneath the cowling. Do I have to derig everything and use the merc harness or the one i have now work?

Thank you. Will i need to adjust the tach for the change in engine size. The force is a 50 and the mercury is a 150.

check back of tack then set to correct pulses-- HP doesnt matter
