None if you don't get caught.

I would guess if you damaged the road/anything while you were doing this and got caught then I would guess there could be vandalism charges. Nothing serious.

If you did get stopped I'm sure there would be suspicion of theft and I would want to be prepared to prove ownership, which you arent.

That's all I can think of now.

Might as well call one of those donation centers and let them come and get it.

Just pull it.

If you get pulled over...

"Now that's what I call good Police work! It seems as though somebody has nicked my trailer and you are already on the scene!"

Can I ask how is it that the boat is residing at your home? And why it can't stay their no more?
Is the owner still your friend?

he acquired it via craigslist. i put my boat in the water and went to get the pos and towed it back to the ramp and put the pos on my trailer. we trailered it back to my house, tied it to a palm tree, then drove the trailer out from under it. we didnt do this at his house because there wasnt anything to tie it to there. the deal was he would get a trailer for it asap (a week or 2) and we'd get it on the trailer and get it out of here. he now has a trailer, the one that came from under my mullet boat. i asked him last night to get it out of here in a week 2 nights ago.

ya. we're still friends.

Put a hand truck under the stern and tie the handles off to your hitch and yank it down the street.

Why not put it on your trailor and drop in his front yard?

I don't think your idea is planned out properly. You haven't mentioned if the front cleats or bow eye have proper backing plates and was 5200 used to mount them!

If you do decide to tow it. Get a video of it. That would be balls funny.

2" hole saw through the keel should drain the rainwater no problem.

no. the pos is covered with barnacles which died off rather quickly and stung to hell by the way.

Just make sure you put some trailer lights on it and a plate. I would also recommend at least a f350 dually. You won't need brakes, since this does not meet the requirement per axel;)

Back in the early 90's we had our first several acre home yard and big garage...... I learned the hard way about storing 'projects' for friends :roll  when I sold that house it was a mad dash to get it all removed .... mostly on my own. That beinng said get the pos on any trailer .... and create your own anchor point in his yard. Set an oversized fence post in the ground at angle or tie the boat off to a vehicle. I live around rednecks .. just be creative and film it.

I'd want that POS out of my driveway if I had a Mercedes too.

I wouldn't invest ten minutes in the removal.
