i have a 2005 200hp optimax
went out boat died out on me so i had a buddy run me out a fuel water separator filter and one for the vst
motor was still idling up and down and then would stall out also the ball was completely flat
the next day i took the low pressure pump apart to check the screen all was well
but when i put it back together now the idle is 4000rpm and 1000 rpm and it wont stall so i feel like now i have a air leak in the low pressure pump so today im going to rebuild it just in case.
but what would make these problems a reed valve, tracker valve, because i dont think i could be a high pressure pump since the motor is reving high and low so rapidly
but today im going to check the air and fuel pressure and tracker valve but any help would be great thanks guys.
