I never understood the mentality of a man that hits his wife or any woman for that matter. Learn how to deal with conflict without resorting to violence. Its not really that hard. Having said that, his wife is pretty much a POS

His wife was definately a POS. I dont condone violence against women, but he was the most approachable athlete out there..He would post on his twitter that he was going to be eating at a certain restaurant and that dinner was on him. He bought the remaining tickets to Bengal games so there wouldnt be a black out. Then game the tickets away..More athletes should be like him, minus the headbutt. To bad for him to make a mistake like this.

His wife is one of the women on the Basketball Wives reality show. The showed clips of her on the show physically fighting with other women on the show and she is definatly a wack job. She was engaged to NBA player Antoine Walker and was rumored to get around. This is not in line with Johnsons past. He is not one of the athletes you see getting arrested all the time. He never had any issues with that during his career.

The whole fight was over a recipt found in the car for a box of condoms while at a little league game . She might have got caught cheating who knows .

I honestly feel bad for the guy. He did some press work while in New England and was nothing but cordial to his fans. We were able to meet him at a restaraunt in Boston during a corporate outing. He was very professional and showed none of the show boating stuff that you see on TV. None of us were in the car that night and cannot profess to know what happened. Any LEO will tell you that for every man hitting his wife, there's a wife pretending she got hit.

I watched Hard Knocks this am before leaving for the office and saw him get the ax. He knew it was coming and took it like a man, earned my respect for that

Funny story.

He "was" Ochocinco" but changed his name back to Johnson because he was engaged to the "head buttee" and she didn't want the last name Ochocinco. :)

I like ochocinco as well, Does more charity then most other atheletes. Did you ever see where he runs against a horse for charity? I met him once at a bengals game. Came over and gave me a hug and took some pictures. He's a class act. He loves his fans and they like him. Hes really just quite a character!
