I know for several years the Tidewater boats were built in the Key West factory.
Just curious, does Tidewater have their own factory now or are they still using the Key West plant?

I was told last week they are in the process of moving to another location about 2 hours away from the Key West plant. Not sure why they are moving, looks to me like that could hurt the quality until they get trained workers in place.

They are in the process of opening a Tidewater only plant. The workers will transfer from the current plant to the new one. This helps with having skilled people when it starts production.

Must be treating the employee's good if they're willing to (a) drive 2 hours or (b) relocate.

I also heard from local dealer that they are moving into a new plant. Hopefully prices will remain competitive. Really looking hard at the 250cc.
