For those who may be interested, I custom fabricate louvered cabin or console doors using Teak and "Starboard" material. I have 30+ years of woodworking experience and have prevously made many doors for my friends and customers on www.ClassicSeaCraft.com and www.ClassicMako.com. I'm offering my services to the members of THT. Each door assembly is custom crafted for the exact application. My rates are affordable and quality is excellent. I bought a set of teak, louvered cabin doors for my 23' SeaCraft and can attest to both the quality of Jim's craftmanship and what a gentleman is he to do business with. I'm sure anyone who has Jim fabricate a set will be as pleased as I am.
Good luck with business, Jim.

All Louvered cabin doors are mechanically fastened using "Dove-tail" joints that are reinforced with #10 SST set screws and then plugged with 3/8" Teak plugs

These "louvered" doors can replace solid starboard or plexiglass doors and greatly increase the ventilation of your cabin and greatly reduce the mold, mildew, moisture, and associated odors that adversely effect your cabin. Yet still provides shelter, privacy and protection from the elements. :).

Another 2 Teak custom louvered doors & frames are being shipped out tomorrow. They are destin for a beautiful 20' Mako CC restoration (see below photo). One is for the Anchor locker, the other is for the center console openning.
http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee292/cj-7-401/9-1-12031.jpg
Currently the boat has solid Starboard doors and the owner wants to go back to the original styling (Teak) and wants more ventilation in his rope/anchor locker and under his center console.

Ps - I wish my Outrage was the clean..... Thats Larry's boat - I have always admired it.

Another of my louvered doors/frame in service. This one is on a beautifully restored 23' Mako CC/straight inboard. Made out of white Starboard, the door utilizes a custom "center" stringer due to the long louver span required.
