We were there in our 21 just couldn't get the king bite. Sharks all day everywhere we went.

We fished it in our 23 Maycraft. We headed out of Beaufort Inlet around 6:00. A storm came rolling by so we turned and sat and waited for an hour or so for it to move out.The lightening was pretty bad and we didn't want to take a chance.Finally headed back out of the inlet and stayed closer to shore than I anticipated.We fished the DTH and the Barge Wreck and finished the day out in the shipping channel.We had a good run at the Barge Wreck and it ended up being a 4ft Hammer Head. Caught several more sharks and that is how we finished the day. Just a slow day of fishing for us!!! Maybe next time!!!!
