Biting the bullet and going out chasing Wahoo with the crazy man " Empty Pockets"
(The wahoo man). You would think after the Tail walker storm in the AM and three hours of sleep the night before. I would avoid the ocean for at least a few day's. But,wahoo fishing with Wendell is always an eye opener. I am just glad that Wendell is not wanting to leave at two AM in 4 to 6's with a east wind, full moon and thunder storms. Which never seems to stop him from dragging his boat to the ramp. Two footers, five am dock time, I can handle with my old bones. Hopefully he will not drag me out to 6000 feet of water, rig up some glow sticks and announce he wants to do an overnighter for swords.
If there are any wahoo in the sea's, I am sure he will find them. And of course I will have to crank them in. ~JJ~

Sucks getting old I know. But we might as well do it while we can. We can always rest this winter. ;cool;

Let us know how you did. Those two footers up at Wrightsville turned into about 4-6 about 20 miles out with a 3-5 sec period. Got a little difficult to stand in the 'ol Big Enuff II. Trolled long enough to catch one Little Tunny and headed back to safer waters.

One for two on wahoo, three kings and a barracuda. Not great for 14 hours of hard boating. Dodged a storm on the way in. ~JJ~

Jay,

Thanks for the report. Looks like you and Wendell had a blast. Nothing like being on the blue with friends, fish or no fish it can't be beat. Charlie
