Have a brand new continental trailer that has electric to hydraulic brakes and it's the brake rite system. We've put it in the water 3 times now and the led lights on the breakaway have moisture in it. It's still not saying charge and has stopped saying recharge and charging. I'm thinking it got water in the module but not sure how to check it. Break rite hasn't gotten back to me. Is that module known for taking water in? Or is there something else? The first time it did not have any problems

Call Bob at 515-265-9267. He is the most knowledgeable person about this at Titan. I have these units on my trailers and I have gone through my share of them. Hopefully you did not submerge the unit. I have ruined a few by dunking them. Does the brake still work?

The brakes still work fine and everything but the little black breakaway box is not showing any lights now and also some leds on the trailer are not working. We may have dunked it a little bit but that would be the placement of the box on the trailer.

If the brakes work that is good. Are you getting 12v on the leads going to the battery? Maybe the light is bad only. It's possible the charger quit working too.

I'm not sure I'll have to give very thing a check. After last weekend the breakaway stopped lighting up and now two amber LEDs went bad too. So I'm thinking the water got to the wiring and missed up some things I'm going to contact the deeler and see what they can do
