how do you hook up two hds (hds7 gen1 and hds7 gen2) so they can talk to each other
and can i hook up a ep 60 fuel flow to the unit or do i need a nmea 2000 ;?

If you're just networking the 2 HDS units, then simply connect an ethernet cable to the yellow plug on the back. If you want to network more than 2, or add radar, etc, then you will need a network expansion port (NEP-1 or 2), or a LSS-1 or 2 structure scan unit, which also has 3 network ports on it.
