For those that have seen the Bourne movies and may want to see the latest installment, it's pretty good. A lot of time is spent setting up the new cast but the action does kick in and is pretty good, not as good imo as the others but maybe worth the money on a rainy day.
It ends kind of suddenly making me want more and no doubt more will come in the next installment.

Just saw it with my son, it's a good movie but again, as with any sequel all they have left is to rehash the same story line and add cooler stunts. How he hears a drone from 20 miles away...wow that's Hollywood.
My son told me that he thought this was the LAST installment of the Bourne movies. ;?

There were a lot of good lines in it. The line after the "turkey burgers" still makes me laugh.

He's an actor. Who cares about his politics?

I heard Matt damon speak for the first time a few months ago, almost upchucked! Never want to hear him again or support his projects. He did gain back some ground when ripped Obama recently but that was only because his (matt's) mom is a teacher and Obama was making cuts with teachers.
However were talking about a movie here, a movie that Mat damon is not even in. I'll keep up with the next flick until it cans, if it cans.

No one is asking you to sleep with him, or move in with him. Would you watch his movies if he was gay? Or black?

Not way up here where I am. The single paved road stops just another 10 miles north of me.

Your statement clearly shows just why our Country is in the mess that it's in. WHY CARE?????
If you haven't noticed.........Hollywood is THE main reason why the Democrats are where they are today and have such power!!!!! Where exactly do you think the liberals money comes from??????
People.......please....for the love of GOD...smarten up!!!!!!:bashhh:
We can't keep our heads up our asses anymore and expect things to work out for the better. Being politically lazy, fat,& stupid just will not cut it anymore. Unless of course you love Socialism, cause unless we stop dumb dumb this Nov, that's exactley where we're headed.

I see your point, but if the sheep and demigod worshipers actually paid attention to the facts and not their "heroes", the politics of an actor wouldn't matter. I don't think it will matter if I, as a conservative "Christan Right" voter, watches Matt's movies or not. I don't think it violates my principles to watch movies, most of which are made by people that have beliefs considerably different than my own.
I have really enjoyed his movies and his acting. Until now, I had no idea about his personal beliefs. Other than the ones that make front page news, I know very little about what celebrities think.
I did however, watch a newscast this morning from beginning to end.;)

I care a great deal about his politics because he carry's a great deal of influence among many people, including the younger generation who will be running this country one day. He's a greeat actor, but severely out of touch with reality when it comes to mainstream America and its core problems. He and his buddys like Clooney and Pitt are nothing but a bunch of narcissistic assholes just like the guy in the WH. Maybe people should start paying more attention, less following and more leading. But, thats the liberal mantra, do as I say, not as I do. Its obvious who the leaders on this site are and who are the followers

Hollywood has become more lib over the years but has never had a shortage of them in their ranks, Babs is one of the biggest but has kept mostly shut after her failed "boycot" of Co. a couple of decades ago.
If I looked into the backgrounds of all the actors, actresses, and musical talents that I enjoy I'd have to scratch a bunch off my list as I'm sure you would.
Now, do tell, who are the leaders and who are the followers here on THT, I'd enjoy knowing the screen names of those that can't think for themselves.

I care a great deal about his politics because he carry's a great deal of influence among many people, Wouldn't this be the real problem? Why should an actor's point of view matter to anyone? including the younger generation who will be running this country one day.Young people have a number of people that will influence their decision making. I would be more concerned with their college professors than an actor. All you can hope is that you've instilled good values and the ability to think when we send our young'ns off into the world. He's a greeat actor, but severely out of touch with reality when it comes to mainstream America and its core problems. He and his buddys like Clooney and Pitt are nothing but a bunch of narcissistic assholes just like the guy in the WH. If we stop watching movies that have narcissistic assholes for actors, that's going to greatly diminish the list of movies to watch. Maybe people should start paying more attention, less following and more leading. But, thats the liberal mantra, do as I say, not as I do. Its obvious who the leaders on this site are and who are the followers What? ;?
The real world is a tough place to live in. I don't think many actors know who or what they are, maybe that's what makes a good actor.

See that's just it....I have scratched a ton off my list and will not go see them because of their political beliefs, and how their millions can and do change this Country!!!!:banghead: I will not hold my 14yr old son to my strict code because of his age and I give him 5 movies per year that I will go with him to no matter what or who the subject matter is and/or the loony director/producer/actor. But.....I damn well tell him all about the person that made the movie, the actors, their viewpoints and how not to gravitate toward that uber liberal left thinking process. There are some liberal viewpoints that I actually agree with. I have said it before, if Joe Lieberman ran for President he would get me vote.

I disagree with your line of reasoning...Actors know exactly who they are, but because they know that they will lose millions of endorsements and/or acting roles they do not have the courage to change.
As a real estate Appraiser in Ground Zero from 2005-2009 I turned down over 58% of the Jobs that were given to me because I knew damn well what was going to happen and I didn't want anything to do with it. I also lost well over $250,000 from making that choice and today am months away from losing my house because I have been blackballed from the industry for my decisions.
I sleep well at night and would do the same in a heartbeat.

So you see as many movies as I do and I don't "screen" who the actors are.
There will always be a number of libs, dems, repubs, cons, in Hollywood. I can't live my life saying well Babs only had a cameo in this flick so It's OK for me to go see it. Or Matt Damon voted for Obama so he's off my list.
Not being argumentative here but do you check out what elite person invests or owns your insurance co. Do you boycott GM and Chrysler because of the bailout, do you do the same with your banks?
I get what your trying to accomplish and I like the intent, I just don't have that kind of time in my life to avoid all that has a negative effect on things as I see them. Very few people of power or influence really agree with my points of view even 85% of the time.
So thumbs up to you but I can't hold the same line, it doesn't make me bad for doing so.
As for Joe Liberman, I don't know where you live but I see enough of him to make me want to vomit, please reconsider this comment.

Back to the topic. Saw the movie today.
Pretty good but I thought it could have used a few more ass kicking scenes.
