Asking price reduced to $32,900, 9/3/2012. My wife says 'sell the boat' and buy a big center console  - It will go to the best reasonable offer. Great boat !!!
Boat motor and trailer are 2001 BUT The boat was purchased by a fellow who right after taking delivery of the boat ended up in a divorce. The boat was decommissioned and put in inside heated storage for 5 years. I bought the boat in 2006 with less than 20 hours on it. It was virtually brand new when I bought it.
It is very very clean - looks almost new.
23' Sea Craft center console, seafoam green, white bottom, Furuno fish finder, Garmin GPS, VHF, 225 Mercury OptiMax, tandem axle roller trailer with electric winch. She is in VERY good condition - ~ 275 hours. Sea Craft 23s have one of the best, if not the best riding hulls ever made. If you are looking for a 23' Sea Craft this is a must see - you will not be dissapointed.. Reason for selling is change in plans and health issues. Enjoy it for the rest of this summer and fall - $32,900. Located in Marstons Mills (Cape Cod), MA

Just never really been a Mercury guy. I have always owned Yamaha products and have never had any issues with any of them. Same may very well ring true with Mercury, but several of my friends have owned Mercury and have had them in and out of the shop more than they have out on the water. I just hear more complaints out of them than anything. I just like to stick with what I know.
Aside from that, the boat is super clean!!! Great looking boat!!! I have actually found one more local to me. Its an older model 23' Seacraft with a 225 Yamaha 2-stroke (~270 hours) on it. Clean clean boat. Not as clean as this one, but good looking boat for a fraction of the price.

Good looking boat.
I'd rather have that Mercury than a four stroke Yamaha.
Good luck with the sale.

Been running a Proline 23 sport CC on a 2006 200HP Mercury Optimax for close to 6 years now, no issues whatsoever. We keep on top of routine maintenance and haven't had any problems. The engine runs great, super fast and very economical on fuel.
If you don't have personal experience with an engine manufacturer, you shouldn't comment about it.
Sounds like a great boat Steve, good luck selling her!

Thanks Trishdan - yes someone is going to get a nice boat. Had lots of lookers, one deal that fell through.
I want to get a Sea Vee 35, Yellowfin or Invincible but the Sea Craft has to go first.

What year is the hull? Describing it as one of the best riding hulls all depends on the year/builder.
