Sorry for the late post, weather has been good and been fishing every day. Here are some pictures of the new 41' cat. Boat runs like a bat outta hell, and is an awesome fishing platform.

Still have some availability this fall; the big tunas (150-200+) should show up end of September and stay well into November.

How fast?

Low 60's with just me and Woody aboard. Mid-to-high 50's loaded down with fuel, ice, 10 tunas in box, and 6 customers. Pretty quick!

I saw this boat some months back on Jory's shop floor, and I was very impressed with the design. Jory is good at what he does so I'm sure you will be happy with the boat.

With the motors set like that, they push the bow down. This helps getting it on plane faster. Same thing can be done on a mono hull. Some inboard boats do this to the rudders on twin screws.

Nice ride.

The hull looks very similar to Jamie Gaspard's boat.

41' cat with a tower, and only twins running 60+ is impressive.

Wow impressive. fastest cat in venice in 4 footers?

There also a Freeman 40 with quad F300 in Venice.

Those numbers are fast for the size and only 700 HP. What kind of fuel burn numbers do you see? Do you get kick backs from Yamaha and Pelagic or did you put decals on the side to look cool?

There also a Freeman 40 with quad F300 in Venice. Wont be the fastest in Venice but might be the most fuel efficient 40' cat.

Freeman 40 barely cracks 60. This one is faster if it is indeed a low 60s boat.

This boat is definitely not slow. It is almost as much fun to drive this boat as it is to catch fish on it. Definitely an adventure!

Who designed this hull? Where can you get the plans for it?

I don't know if Jory Neuville at Razorhead Boats designed the hull, but he definitely built it. He's out of Lorauville, LA. Quality builder, and a sharp mind to boot. He comes from a long line of personal water craft and oil field supply vessel builders.

Best bet would be to contact Hunter at [email protected] or try this site: http://www.razorheadboats.com/site5.php

These guys built it for us and could probably answer most of your questions. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that is the fastest cat in Venice.

Having the motors tilted like that enables it to turn like a mono-hull, it leans inward in a turn instead of out like most cats do.

Kinda looks like the 35 Twin Vee Mamba Hydrofoil with the tilted motors.

Same designer and concept. Compound curves are much easier in fiberglass than aluminum though.

Looks like Ken's Fincats he used to build.

I like it either way, just reminds me of the fincat.

Best of luck with her Capt. Hunter!
