basically brand new, i ran this jack plate for a week and did not see any reasonable gains from it, so now it is for sale. it is the 4" HD Jack from bobs machine shop for big v6 motors. includes everything- plate, pump, wiring and switch. like new for two hundred bucks cheaper, selling $750 shipped.

I looked on Bob's site and the HD 4 inch is $889. Is yours different from that jackplate?

correct, what they call the 4" ultra hd plate, $890. with a shipping weight of 65# in a big box, it isnt cheap. i will gladly accept pickup in person at reduced price.

If you don't mind me asking. What didn't you like about the jack plate or what didn't it do?
I'm contemplating adding one to my boat mainly for shallow water use... I've never owned one before.

the additional offset typically will yield additional bow lift, but on this particular hull it wasnt any faster. it will certainly help in shallow water with any hull, but that was not my objective.

Mike,

was not busting the price, I think it is a good deal and I am thinking about using one on a project boat my son and I are working on. I may get back to you on this.
