Boats For Sale and Wanted - WTB: Flats boat under $15k

Looking for a flats boat, located in the Tampa area but willing to drive for the right deal. Checked out a boat 2.5 hrs away in Bonita Springs today and it definitely wasn't the right deal :mad: so I'm hoping THT can help me out. Serious buyer, but patient enough to wait for the right deal.

I've got a 2002 Action Craft 1802 that I'd sell in your price range.

I have a list of about $300 in parts, and a few days labor that I am planning on doing to it. I'd sell it to you before hand if you want a $1000 discount and you can do the work yourself. Or I can finish the stuff I wanted to do and you can buy it complete (and in nice shape).

Boat is a 2002 with a 125 Merc 2-stroke, fish finder, power pole, jack plate, trolling motor. Trailer included. Perfect perfect perfect compression on the motor, and serviced 5 days ago (filters, l/u oil, spark plugs, etc.), I have receipt for service and mechanic's invoice with compression if you'd like.

Parts/labor I'm planning on doing is minor stuff, detail / wet sand to make it shine up, replacing some decals, replacing a few of those wires that hold the hatches when they're open, re-doing some of the connectors in the wiring, etc.

I'd sell it for $10000 as is, or $11000 completed. Let me know if that would interest you.

I agree with bigfunfish. The Dolphin platform is well worth looking at, even though is outside your parameters.

If it was me, and it was this time last year, I would look for an older Egret, Willy, Dolphin, Maverick Mirage, Hewes. Small issues on the hull are easy to address. The real issue is the engine. I personally prefer a two stroke on a flats boat.

Have a boat that fits what you're looking for...18.6 Key Largo with a 90HP Suzuki 4 stroke, trolling motor, alum. trailer. Asking $9990. Unfortunately, its at my home in upstate NY. Trying to sell it here but may bring it back to Fla. this winter if need to.
